SimLocation – GPS Location Simulator

Welcome to SimLocation ("the App"), a GPS location simulation tool developed and published by Moomtain on the Google Play Store. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App, how that information is used, and your choices regarding that information.
By downloading or using SimLocation, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
SimLocation collects only the minimum information required to provide its core functionality.
The following data is stored exclusively on your device using Android SharedPreferences and a local database. It is never transmitted to Moomtain:
SimLocation requests access to your device's precise location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION)
and approximate location (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION). This permission is used solely to:
Your actual GPS coordinates are not uploaded to any server operated by Moomtain. The App's core feature — mock location — replaces location data reported to other apps via the Android mock location API; it does not read or transmit your real location externally.
The App integrates third-party SDKs that may collect data independently according to their own privacy policies:

SimLocation requests the following Android permissions:

The locally stored data described in Section 2.1 is used exclusively to:
Moomtain does not use any information for marketing, profiling, or analytics purposes on its own servers. Third-party SDKs (AdMob, Google Maps) may use collected data for their own purposes as described in their respective privacy policies.
SimLocation is a free app supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. The App displays banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded interstitial ads.
Where required by applicable law (e.g., the EU General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act — CCPA), the App will present a consent dialog managed by the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) before showing personalized ads. You may update your ad consent preferences at any time via Settings → Privacy Settings inside the App.
If you choose not to consent to personalized ads, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized and less relevant to your interests.
All data generated by SimLocation (settings, favorites, recent locations, Reward Beans) is stored locally on your device and retained until you choose to delete it.
You can delete all local data at any time via:
Uninstalling the App will also remove all locally stored data. Moomtain has no ability to recover this data on your behalf.
SimLocation is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Because all App-generated data remains on your device, it is protected by Android's standard application sandbox and your device's security measures (e.g., screen lock, encryption). We recommend keeping your device's operating system and security patches up to date.
Moomtain cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to or processed by third-party SDKs. Please refer to those providers' security documentation for more information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Effective Date" at the top of this page will be updated. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
